Askari Wild is an e-commerce concept that aims to raise funds for wildlife conservation projects via sales of branded apparel and merchandise available to animal lovers around the globe.
100% of the net profits raised by Askari Wild are donated back to the wildlife organisations that are featured on this site.
Askari Wild is run and administered by The Askari Project which is a fully registered and compliant not for profit organisation in Australia. The Askari Project was launched in 2015 to raise support and funding for the aerial and ground conservation operations of The Tsavo Trust in Kenya in their work to monitor and protect some of the last great Tuskers of Africa.
These fundraising efforts have now increased to include supporting other conservation organisations via the Askari Wild concept.
When making a purchase you will notice on Paypal reciept emails and possibly other notifications references to The Askari Project as this is the officially registered not-for-profit entity.

Askari Wild is a platform for wildlife conservation organisations to sell branded clothing and merchandise to supporters around the globe. Every item sold on this site generates funding for these organisations and contributes to the crucial conservation work they do every day to monitor and protect countless species of wildlife.
Sales for each organisation are tallied quarterly and funds submitted to the respective organisations to continue this work.
We have product sizes / dimensions for every item listed on our store. This information is found in the product description section of each product and also listed on our Garment Sizing Info page. Please review this sizing information carefully as the product dimensions found on our site may be different to similar products you have purchased elsewhere.
Askari Wild is a fundraising concept of the fully registered and compliant charitable organisation - The Askari Project.
The Askari Project is located in Australia and whilst the $USD currency is the most common & recognised throughout the world it unfortunately brings with it a lot of fees & charges to work in alternate currencies when processing small online transactions through the various payment gateways and providers available to us.
In the end we felt it best to operate the site in our home currency of Australian Dollars to minimise these transaction and operating costs wherever we can to ensure we are able to raise as much funding as possible for the intended conservation projects we are supporting.
Whilst we endeavour to strike a balance between raising vital funding for wildlife conservation projects and keeping our products as competitively priced as possible the cost price from our international distributor also plays a large role in the retail price. Unfortunately items sized 2XL or larger cost a few dollars more per item and as such we are forced to pass these increased costs on to maintain the conservation funding we strive to provide the wildlife organisations represented by Askari Wild.
When you have finished selecting your items, click on the cart icon at the top of the page to proceed to the Checkout Cart. Review your items and then click on the Yellow Paypal Checkout button to finalise paying for your order.
You do not need a Paypal account to complete the checkout process.
Simply select the 'Pay with a Card' option on desktop computer or 'Checkout as Guest' option on a mobile device at the bottom of the pop up check out window to proceed with paying with a debit / credit card.

Available in denominations of $25, $50, $100, $150 & $200 all you have to do is choose an amount and write a personalized message to forward onto the recipient.
Please be advised that due to how the e-gift cards are processed it is not possible to add a gift card to our standard card / checkout process with other items from our site. All gift cards are a stand alone purchase - please follow the links and check out process on the Gift Cards page to complete your transaction.
We work with an international fulfilment company with facilities worldwide so depending on where you are located, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can do it most efficiently.
Please note that the make up of your order and the products you have selected will determine where your order is dispatched from.
This might mean that delivery times for some items may differ as certain items in your order might need to be shipped separately. These items may in an additional shipping charge due to the specific packaging some of these products may require.
The list of items that ship separately from others due to packaging differences include:

* mugs
* pillows with stuffing
* framed posters

* water bottles

An additional customs fee can sometimes occur on international orders depending on a customers location. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs authority. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs authority to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.
Usually, it takes 3 - 7 days to fulfill an order, after which it is shipped out.
The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:
● USA: 3–4 business days
● Europe: 6–8 business days
● Australia: 2–14 business days
● Japan: 4–8 business days
● International: 10–20 business days

Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:
● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
● Ask your local post office if they have your package
● Stop by your neighbours in case the courier left the package with them
If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at your neighbour’s, get in touch with us at info@theaskariproject.org with your order number.
If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but an additional shipping charge will be applied.

We are very sorry if the product you ordered has arrived damaged.
To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at info@theaskariproject.org within 7 days of receiving your order. Include photos of the damaged product, your order number, and your contact details.
We will consult with our international fulfillment company and get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible.
When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.
Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.
The solution is simply to wash the garment. Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash.
Unfortunately we do not offer returns and exchanges for change of mind or a wrong size being ordered. If there is something wrong with the quality of your items received, please let us know by contacting us at info@theaskariproject.org
At this time, we do not offer exchanges. If you are unsure about which size to order, check out our sizing charts - we have one for every item listed on our store and these are found in the product description section or on our Garment Sizing Info page.
Refunds are only offered to customers that receive wrong or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at info@theaskariproject.org with photos of the wrong or damaged items and we will sort that out for you.
